FAQs
Under normal circumstances, small and medium sized business are the typical clients for many Managed Service Providers. Most of these companies have very little or no in-house IT capabilities, so they call on local managed service providers to obtain IT knowledge and expertise to help their business. The managed service provider model helps keep your best employees focused on your business while someone else deals with your IT issues.
By utilizing our experience inside the small to medium business landscape, we have experienced that most small businesses share very common pain points when it comes to their IT infrastructure. From experience, we have learned that most struggle with adequate security, backup and recovery, e-mail management, storage solutions, and computer health. These issues normally go over-looked until the business suffers a catastrophic incident that forces the business owner to spend thousands to resolve the issue. Over time, it has been proven that every $1 spent on pro-active maintenance will end up saving the business $5 on reactive maintenance.
The managed service provider subscription model provides small business the advantages of predictable IT support costs. Managed service providers pride themselves on doing preventive IT work to prevent IT problems before they actually happen. This models helps reduce business operations disruptions caused by IT problems. Compared to hiring your own in-house IT staff, a managed service provider can help bridge the gap between your needs and an in-house IT Professional for a fraction of the cost.
